Default Sunvisor Mirror Vanity lights

Okay -
Passenger side works, driver's side doesn't....
Popped off the the clear cover and the light seems to be hardwired in??? Can these be replaced?
I wish I could get one out just to make sure I'm getting 12V to the damn thing.....
Soooooo, what's the trick????

Also, I'm in the process of putting in a Homelink device and rebuilding mine. Here's some pics that might help:

You don't have to remove the mirror and take apart your visor. Pop out the clear plastic to gain access to the lights. The remove and replace the visor lights.

I believe the bulbs are a P37, but if your replacing them put in LEDs from here:

If you do pull them to replace the bulbs be very careful as the plastic clips that hold them in are easily damaged.

If you should damage them I posted a fix with zip ties in the Tech DIY thread.

Default Fix vanity mirror on passenger visor

I have my vanity mirror detached from visor, but not clear to me how to reattach. It looks just like the photo you have here. There appears to be a pressure latch missing or something. What holds the mirror assembly to the pre-drilled holes drilled in support of visor under felt?? What am I missing here?

I may have inadvertently posted this in the wrong place in order to get a response???

One reason why I added the Homelink system was because my mirror assembly actually broke. In the second photo you can see the black plastic tabs that secure the mirror to the visor. I re-secured mine with zip ties from another post which seems to work well.
