Default Body Kits...Lingenfelter, Callaway, and what others?

I'm doing a body kit on my newly acquired 91...most likely a LPE aerobody...
BUT, before I pull the trigger, can you all tell me what all my options are?

Thx,
Josh

Callaway Aerobody and the Shinoda http://www.hashmarks.com/photos/gs621new.jpg are the first 2 to pop into my head.

I prefer the Callaway, but they no longer have the mold for the rear bumper :(

That problem is in the process of being corrected. Maybe Chris aka 89x2 will give us some more info on this.

I will have a kit that will look like the Larry Shinoda kit out in a few months. I actually found one and a very good fiberglass person is remaking the kit in glass and improving the overall looks and functionality. With this kit you will not have the fitting problems and prep work that you normally would because this will be quality stuff. For pics of what the kit will look like go to http://www.zr1registry.com/gathering.htm then call Terry Hagn at southeastern fiberglass at 1-954-785-0583 and ask him about it. Tell him James Lewis told you to call him and to hurry up with the kit because you want one pronto

While at the Corvettes @ Carlisle show last week, the ZR1 Aerobody package was a HOT TOPIC as one of the few existing CR1's was damged in an very unfortunate accident  We are all grateful that the owner make it through relatively unscathed however, the car suffered a broken tail...

Options were discussed up to the point of "splicing" a standard Aerobody tail to fit however, the tail side contours would not "mesh" well :skep:

An owner at the show quickly offered a possible solution to make a new mold for a new (and future) tail - This got the blessing of Callaway Cars at the show and everyone in "Isle A" got very excited

So while the original mold was destroyed in a fire, the possibilies are now much more certain - This will all take a bit of TIME - Be patient - The good stuff is yet to come

I want to thank Callaway Cars for their continued support of the owners  :steering:
