Bayed
maybe this has been defined already, but I could not find it. What does "bayed" actually mean? My car has been produced, it's in Nashville and is now "bayed"

Mine went to Nashville stayed @ 4300 for a few days then went to
"4B00 bayed" for a day or two then went to "4D00 hold" for about a week, now this morning is again @ 4B00 on GMers list.

I thought 4B00 (in non-nashville cars) meant that it had passed QC and was just waiting for 10 cars to head the same direction before they got on a truck, but Cust Svc said otherwise, so I'm not sure exactly what it means other than it's close.
On another note, H101's stats shows that ON AVERAGE, your car gets to the dealer 11 days after you first hit 4B00. That said, there are some pretty large outliers to that, some 30+ days, some 3 days.

I was built last Monday - Vin # 1605 - last update was on Thursday at status 4B00 , but never any mention of having to go to Nashville. Hope I havent slid backwards at all and the next status is '5000'

I posted this on another similar thread, so I hope I am not violating forum rules, but I thought this hard evidence might be useful and directly germane to the topic.
Here is my status code list since being produced. Notice that I have been listed as Bayed on four separate dates. Today GMer's status report shows me as back on hold again. Sigh.
