Default cooling fan relay (hot all time) wire source?

ok figured i would figure out just how badly someone messed up the cooling fan wiring when they bypassed it to manual control.

what i found was that they must have had a problem first and band-aided it with a switch as i found the main fan relay hot all the time wire goes nowhere. i see where the second fan has its fusable link and pretty sure that is same general area the main fan relay should have its fusable link as well, but i can only fallow the main fan relay (hot all time) wire to about where the fuseable link should be but no link or even a stray wire there at all.

so my question is on a 85 corvette where do these hot at all times wires for the fan relays originate? looks as if they go into the firewall, so is there source under the dash? ran out of tracing time so i just figured asking might be quicker.
thanks in advance

On my 86, there is a red wire molded into battery terminal. A few inches from terminal, it splits into 2 wires to feed both relays.

The fan relay is right next to the battery. Just run a hot wire from the + battery terminal and throw in a 15 amp fuse on the way to the relay.

If I remember this right, the early C4's were fed from a lug at the Starter, so you might look there if you want it Stock. Sometime around '87 or '88, a Junction Block was used which was located behind the Battery.
