dual exhaust in california
i know its illegal to have true dual exhaust here in cali and i was wondering if anyone from the 831 area knows of a shop that will make me an exhaust system with two hollow cats with a pipe inside them. Of course it is for OFF-ROAD USE ONLYand the reason i want those cats is just because of looks...

take a pry bar and knock the crap out . some vandals jacked my trans am up one night ,unbolted the flange and drove a pry bar through its converter emptying it of its " Valuable " contents. didn't report it at the time, didn't know until the mileage and performance got better.

Seriously, register your car in a rural area. Check the DMV site for rural areas near you that exclude bi-annual inspections. Then go to a Post Office 6 months before reg is due and get a PO Box. Use the paperwork from the last registration, look for the change of address and make it your rural PO Box.

What youre publicly asking someone esp a shop to do can get them in a WHOLE lotta trouble.
He can get a "smog" within 30 mi radius of his "new" address? Think thats the DMVs reg not sure
-----------------------------------------------------
What are you going to do come smog time with gutted cats cause it wont pass (if you get called into a STAR or test only station)
Wont really gain you any power either. Put some catcos carsound or??? cats on there (need to be the Ca specific ones too), be legal and lose no power. They are reasonable and flow well.
Got tired of dodging smog issues ah the good old days lol.
