F/S 2008 Black Coupe Z51, 3LT, Wide Rear, $30,500 OBO
2008 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Black 44k Miles SOLD
For sale is my 2008 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. I am selling my Corvette because I just don’t have time to enjoy it as much as I would like. I have owned this Corvette since 2010 and have treated it very well since then. I only drive this car in the summer, late spring, and early fall months. It has seen rain, but I do not make it a habit of driving it in the rain if I can help it. This Corvette is not my daily driver. It is stored in an air conditioned and heated garage when it is not being driven. The car is located near La Crosse, Wisconsin.
This Corvette does have a wide rear kit with Z06 fenders that may or may not be something you are interested in. For that reason I would be happy to replace the rear fenders with the factory fenders and replace the wider wheel/tires with the factory wheels/tires that came on the Corvette. I still have those parts and they are in perfect shape siting in my basement. If you want the car with the wide rear fenders I will include the factory fenders as well, but I will be keeping the factory wheels. If you want the car with the standard fenders and factory wheels I would need to keep both the wide fenders and the LG Motor Sport wheels. This can be negotiated if you are interested.
The condition of the car mechanically and physically is very good. I wash this car very frequently and also apply Zaino at least once a year. This car has Kooks long-tube headers and a Kooks off-road x-pipe. Paired with the Corsa Xtreme axle back exhaust and you can all but imagine that this car is fairly loud. It is not obnoxious, but it definitely has a mean growl even when cruising around. This may be something to keep in mind. A simple change to a Corsa Touring axle back exhaust would probably make it quiet. Since it does have long tubes it was dyno tuned for that reason. I will include a scanned image of the dyno sheet.
The only mechanical issue this car has had was a bad roller. I have read of this happening on other LS3 engines and it didn’t seem like a frequent occurrence, but from what I gather it does happen with these engines. Anyway the rollers and camshaft (due to the chance that it was damaged by the bad rollers) were replaced under warranty by Chevrolet dealership. I can provide service records for that if necessary. Other than that issue it has never given me any problems. The oil is changed every 5,000 miles or 6 months with Mobil 1 10w30.
I am looking to sell this Corvette sometime this spring or summer. There is no hurry to sell it and I want to make sure it goes to a good home. I’m open to reasonable offers. This Corvette may be placed on Ebay in the future if I do not have enough interest here on the forums. Please message me here on the forum or reply to this thread if you have any questions whatsoever. I would be glad to answer anything.

Remember, if you do not like the wide rear kit I have the factory fenders and wheels and will swap them out for no charge. I plan on posting a video tonight of the Vette running so you can hear the sound of the exhaust with the long tubes. If anyone has any questions at all please PM me or reply here. I have one serious inquiry at the moment.

Nice car and a pretty good price. I would be giving you a call if it didn't have the red interior. Couple questions I was going to ask that might help future buyers, does it have the base suspension or Z51 and do you still have the original exhaust and if so was it NPP?
Edit Just noticed it says Z51 right there in the thread title. Duh on my part.

I didn't know if I would like the red interior until I saw it in person. I actually really like it. It is something you either like or don't. It does have the Z51 package. It did come with NPP exhaust, but I sold it to a fellow forum member a few years ago.

No that's ok. Just seeing if they might be the gumby wheels. Shoot me a PM when you upload that video. I'm anxious to hear how loud it is with that exhaust.

Thanks for compliments! The wheels are on of my favorite things about this car. Even one of the guys from LG Motorsports said he had never seen their wheels with black chrome and he was surprised how good they actually looked.
