I got an answer today for another question I asked the Michelin folks. They told me that the new Pilot Sport A/S 3, when it does come out, will not be available as a rft.

My firestone dealer told me that the would repair a tire that had a foreign object in it as long as the sidewall wasn't punctured.They will not repair (as well as any other brand) a tire that has been run with zero pressure.Thats what the dealer said it meant! that they wouldn't repair one that has been run with ZERO pressure for any significant amount of time.

Sounds to me like it is a non-run-flat version of the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP (zero-pressure run-flat) which means it will be a really great tire, just not for the Corvette with its two different size tires and no spare, unless, of course your willing to give up the safety and convenience of the miracle tires called run-flats.

The C7 has narrower tires than the base C6 which means all-season should be available for the C7 since they are available for the Coupe and Convertible. No sport cars come from the factory with all-season tires, they always come with summer tires that give impressive results when tested on dry, smooth, warm test tracks by the automotive magazine reviewers. But unless your in the tiny minority of sport car owners who actually track their car, you will want all-seasons if you drive year around, or even in the Fall and Spring in the snow belt.

I had nail pucture the right rear tire and the local Firestone dealer (not the place I bought the tire from) repaired the tire for free. The patch held up until all 4 tires were replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP. Overall, I was very satisfied with the Firestones.

The Michelin website shows the A/S 3 and says nothing about it being a RF.
Hard to gather any real info from their site though except them saying it's great and all size fitment info will be released on May 1st.
I must be missing something because this tire hasn't come out yet and there's 2 reviews on it already

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
the set that I just replaced had the rear repaired 3 years ago and since then the car has been "driven" without any issues - I had a nail in the tire and pressure probably didn't go below 20-22 psi

I've seen some say the C7 tires are skinnier than the C6, But, where are they getting the info ?
I know they're skinnier
than the Z06 and GS but from everything I see, the C7 wheels and tires ( except for Z51 ) are/going to be the same as the C6.
The tire sizes for the 2014 Corvette models are:
P245/40ZR18 (93Y) SL Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport® ZP
P285/35ZR19 (99Y) SL Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport® ZP
2014 Chevrolet Corvette with Z51 Performance Package
