Install ZR1 side skirts with pop rivets?
So I've had these side skirts on the car for a few months. They were from rpi designs and came with screws for the installation. Almost all of the screws that screwed into the rocker panel have fallen out. On one side, the only thing holding the side skirts in place is the mud flap screws and the 2 bolts at the very front from the fender lining holding it up. My question is how hard it is to install pop rivets if i did it myself. I was told the zr1 skirts are pop riveted on. How much would i be looking to pay if a shop did it for me? Thanks

My side skirts are installed with screws for well over a year now without any problem. The trick is to use the proper size pilot hole (small) & properly torque the screws (don't over tighten).

i like the rivits also hardest part is getting the car off the ground to put them in, unless you have a lift . I would feel bad about the screws in other peoples tires but what about screws in your rear tires.

had the day off so I finally got the remaining screws out and replaced them with pop rivets. It's so much better than before... I should have gone this route in the beginning. It only cost about 20$. $9.99 for a spring loaded manual rivet gun, 5$ for 3/16" rivets, and 3$ for a 3/6" drill bit.
thanks for all of the replies and help!
