OP didnt seem to mind to much. The post prior to your senseless rant he mentions he might do the same.
You should stick to policing whats talked about in your own posts.

Imagine that, a Corvette site where many of us like Corvettes and other cars as well. Also imagine, many of us like to tinker with our Corvettes and make them better and faster. This topic comes up often around here. Its American Hot Rodding 101. Whats funny is someone would take offense to such talk on a Corvette site. Even when it comes from someone who must inject to nearly every post he has made, he has an F-car. 'Look at me, look at me!!!'
By the way, Have a couple of them notched on the belt also, including a 430 scud.

Thought maybe you were talking to me but I checked my last 100 posts and not a mention of my f-car, so your either posting bull**** or not talking to me.

Have had both, prefer the vette.
Any work on the 911 is 2 to 3 times the cost of the same work on the vette.
Trailing throttle over-steer has been pretty much scienced out of the 911, however, you can't cheat physics, i.e., in a corner, at speed, if you lift, be ready to swap ends. When I had my 911, the most common damage at the dismantling yards and body shop was rear end damage. 911 is a great car, the vette is my choice.

Depending on the year your C6 may have been faster.

The 997 is a brute, although a bit clinical from what I've read. I've been in a 996X50 and reached the same conclusion, although the sheer performance would be enough to make me overlook it being "too perfect", i.e. too vice free and not dramatic enough. My only real complaint is that mods for Porsches are too rich for my blood, which takes some of the fun out of it..

.
The suspension on my 996TT feels a lot more compliant over the street bumps than the suspension of my 03 Z06. The Z06 could literally rattle my dental filling off. The 911TT just glides over the same streets.

That's has all but been ironed out from the modern AWD 911.

He wont admit it but you can see it because he always drives his landrover. Just no excitement factor!!!! Just in case you think I'm a hater I will admit on the track that thing is insane.
I suggest driving a Modded GT2 with 900 WHP. It may change your mind.

Spun my air cooled Carrera many times. Into a corner hard keep power steady and power out gives me a smile every time.
Into a corner hard and lift off mid corner and watch the **** squirm around, the faster you go and lift off the worse it comes around. Then there is also the problem of the car correcting itself and coming back so fast that it pushes the rear the other way and that ends real ugly. I have learnt to drive the old 911's with care. The newer stuff tends to understeer on the street and the harder you push it the car becomes neutral so on the track they seem to be very neutral. Boring no I think I'm going to fast to call it boring but certainly not as scary as the old stuff. Stewy
