There are some real good vendors on this Forum and there are
also a few real bad vendors on the Forum. Lousy customer
service and they will actually confront their customers. All I
can say is be careful who you do business with.

This has nothing to do with a vendor--its the product quality--the vara most likely works but to have rivets or screws come loose is pure BS

I've heard a lot of complaints here on the forum about the quality of the Vararam fit. That's too bad since the product does seem to work. But for the money, it should be a higher quality product.

re
I bought mine thru jegs and can't believe they would let something of that quality even in there door. I could understand if it was $100 cause thats about all it's worth but $350 give me a freaking break !!!!! and the instructions change the ink in your printer !!!!! cause I couldn't even read it.
I about returned it and bought from a reputable company.

I wish I had a buck for every post about how the build quality is for what they charge, I would be a rich man.

Yeah am done with my Vararam, its way too expensive to have to jerry rig it so it does not leak air, or scoop up dirt. I think that by now they would have gotten it also but they won't until it starts to hit them in the pocket book. The less people buy from them, they will figure out that a substandard product is not what we as customers want.

Me too, whatever very small performance advantage the Vararam might have over the Honker was not worth the risk of having my engine suck dirt and sand in due to the poor quality/fitment issue that have been experienced by so many on here.

In all reality it is one of the best for our Vettes hands down IMHO!

The one that I had on my car wasn't the best quality either. I had to put weather strip around the one corner because of a 1/4" gap. Finally went with a supercharger and lost the VR.

I do agree with the build quality of the VaraRam being sub-par, however I have had mine installed on my car for about 7 years now and have not had one problem with it. I remember when I installed it thinking, "I'm putting this POS on my car!", and 7 years later its still the same as when I installed it.
Another reason I like the VaraRam is that if you take the cheesy sticker off the front, when it's installed it looks like factory equipment and the smog ***** don't know any different.

Contact the vendor you bought it from and send them pics and an explanation of what happened. VR has great customer service. They've fixed a few minor issues for my customers in the past. Even issues the customer/installer caused (including myself).
