Maybe I should just save my money and not put it towards this C3 POS as I have now learned what it really is. I will see what time slot is available at the local junkyard to have it crushed. I guess I should just put this poor car out of its emission / catalytic converter equipped life. I think I will save the radio block off plate as a souvenir!!!!
It will go from looking like this to this
thanks for all your help, I am glad I joined this forum!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for not blowing sunshine up your skirt.
Didn't think I was being an **** about it, but others have disagreed over the years.
How about some pictures of said C3 POS?
Here are some links to show you how if you don't already know.

To say that the car "isn't worth anything...." isn't exactly the truth.
Here are the sold prices, at auction, of a few comparable models.
Lot F259
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
350 CI, Automatic
Sold for $11,500
Lot T162
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
350 CI, Automatic
SOLD for $18,000
Lot F176
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
Sold for $8,000
Lot S36
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
350 CI, Automatic
Sold for $19,000
Lot S186.1
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
$11,500
Lot F65
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
Sold for $11,500
Lot F285
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
350 CI, Auto. Trans.
SOLD for $8,500
Lot A45
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
Sold for $16,000
Average sale price, at auction, going back to 2008 is $13,000.
That's something, maybe not the value of the earlier C3's but still worth something.

It wasn't WHAT you said - it was the tone. People can be sensitive with statements like "bottom of the food chain" which can be equated with an opinion of nearly valueless to someone who highly values their car.
Asking someone to not concerning them-self with "de-value-ing" the Corvette also implies a lack of initial worth to begin with - also a side jab.
Yes the market may values 75 coupes less than other C3s but there are 75 enthusiasts out there who love their cars and do everything someone with a 67 tri-power coupe does to keep them looking and running great.
