Perfect timing! I just saw one of these on Blitz car. Looked pretty good. I'd like two, 1 for my buddy Lou. Thank you.

I purchased one for my C5 - 2003 50th Anniversary. It definitely changes the looks of the interior and the steering wheel. Instead of a blank/bland steering wheel it now stands out to the better and looks great. Don't know why everyone hasn't done this yet.

Sorry PeterB and Greekmn2 We were closed August 15th until the 28th for Corvettes at Carlisle in PA. I'm actually still on the road heading back to Tampa FL. The week before we left was petty busy I thought I returned every voicemail message before we closed but maybe some slipped through the cracks also for some reason these thread responses from you didn't go to our email like they usually do? The way I actually found out about this was that peter had emailed me through our ebay store and the email from ebay was sent to my cell phone and he said he had messaged on the forum so I got on the computer at the hotel to see what was up. I will call both of you tomorrow and get you all taken care of I appoligize

No worries Brian. Thank you for taking my order yesterday and being nice enough to give me the sale price on it. Thank you again, You're the BEST!!

PS. Did Lou opt for it too on the same ship price? FYI When I text him to be sure he took your call on color, he text me back he didn't think he wanted it? But later I found out, he thought it was the entire steering wheel hahahaaa

Stay well friend. GooAy

I want to know if tests were done to see what happens to the emblem when the airbag deploys. Is the vendor going to be liable for not putting a disclaimer if someone looses an eye because of one of these emblem's during an airbag deployment?

So we can't get a fully cut out sticker anymore, right? The sticker has now changed to being fully domed in the middle where it used to be cut out?

I think that would look very cheap compared to the old kind...anyone have pics of the new version?

The reason for the complete dome like i have said before on this thread is the original 3.25" logos were domed by hand using a doming gone. You could really control and slow down the amount of doming in the thin circle and on the flag poll sections of the logo..not allowing the doming to run over. This method was fine when selling a few logos a week...when the volume of domed logos sold picked up and we started supply Ecklers..Central..West coast..dealerships..other vendors.. offering over 100 or so logos for C4 C5 and C6.Soon there is no way you can dome all those logos by hand..and a machine has to do the doming. The problem with a machine is it could not be calibrated down and believe me we tried in order for it to dome the circle and flag sections of the 3.25" logos. We have been selling them for 3 years this way you actually do not notice the clear doming..it actually just looks like the clear domed center is black when you look at it. The reason you really see it in the one pic we posted was that I took it with a flash so light would reflect off of it so our customers could see that the center was now domed.

Talk about beating a dead horse, but can anyone put up pics of a black decal vs the chrome decal on the steering wheel? Hoping to get the chrome letters on the front of the passenger air bag too (chrome colored) so that they match. My car color is MY with chrome rims, etc..
