Blower motor wiring?
Heya everyone how goes it
Just a quickie - I'm installing a switch to turn the blower motor on and off, and was wondering if/how anyone has done it? I figured I'd splice into that sucker and go to town lol...
Cheers,
Jeff

80's a bit off from my '73, but on my '73, it's the brown wire from the heater/blower/AC fuse that is the single power in to the in car switch. cutting it and installing a switch will disable the blower in all positions. I would recomend you get a wiring diagram and trace the wires on your '80 before you start cutting. good luck,,C.

Thanks for the reply
I have disconnected the plug from the top of the heater/AC box under the hood, and the blower still turns on and off. It's the 4 plug deal with 2 plugs horizontal and 2 plugs parallel, I was guessing this was the harness for the blower motor? It's a former AC car but still has all the old AC stuff installed under the dash and on the firewall.
I hope to check those fuses out tomorrow night and get this underway
