I would say the money would be on the 67 435. The real big money on 67 L88.

Still, it's nice to see so many pick the 63 SWC. Had my 4. Funny that one was modded out to a 67 BB in Green. Another to a 65 Nassau Blue. And a third to a Porche Red.

The funny thing is, that everyone hated the split rear window. Thats why it was gone in 64, you couldn't see out the rear of the car. A lot of 63 owners, cut the split out and got the 64 rear window even, just like making your c6 look like a zo6 c6.

The 63's also had drum brakes.....

The 67's , although the most popular for the advertised HP rating, really was a step down from 65 or 66. The 66 did have the 450 hp 427, but few recognize it, and the 67 had poor interior. It was a accidental year. The 68 c3 was suppose to come out in 67 but didnt make it. The 67 had plastic interior peices, the emergency brake handle in the middle (for who knows why?) and few other things.

I had a 427 tri power 68 roadster, that really was a great car (and I didnt like any of my other c3's before it) but the 68 was c2 like, and it ran well with the 400 hp tri power engine and 4 speed.

I dont miss it, I like the 64 roadster better. The 65 is a PITA and the 66 is better then the others but not as nice as the 64 now, only because its benn used more.

The best.....the 09 zr1 is the best car, but it wont have the character of the early cars.

I'd have to say as far as older ones, any C1, BB, and SWC would be a prize possession to have. With the newer ones for me I would like a 96 GS, 04 Z16, and an 09 ZR1.

Here is the #2 '69 ZL1. It was at the NCRS show in Orlando a few years ago. It is a gorgeous car, only wish Roger would of brought his to put it next to this one. And yes this is the real one, he has all the documentation on it, original owner, and it was in one of the Vette magazines as well. If anyone wants higher res. pics let me know.

If you want it to drive it stay away from C1s, C2s, C3s.

None of them drive worth anything until the C4.

If you want it just to have it the then there are several that have been mentioned and I would agree.

c1 c2 c3 were made to be parked....lol
ps. back in the 50's,60's and 70's those cars were great sport cars you cant compared them w/ c5 or c6 (is 30to50+ years of technological difference)
