I needed some mechanical work done, most of it custom, underneath the car.

Try The Vette Shoppe 480-945-9030.

On McClintock, north of University in Tempe.

Work was done well, prices were reasonable, and they were honest, I didn't get any BS.

You need an appointment, so they can make room for your car inside, and they only do mechanical/electrical work on cars up to 1996, no fiberglas, or late model cars.

Another good, honest and knowledgable shop [in Phoenix west valley area] is Jake's Auto Repair on 96th Avenue (off of Peoria Ave. just west of the W. 101 loop). He is a general repair shop but always has a Corvette or two being worked on. We just moved to TN from the Phoenix area and need to find another good shop.

Corvettes-n-Classics
I run it out of my garage(for the time being). All work done by a professional A/P Mechanic. Appointments are necessary. The only thing I will not do is Paint & body.

I took the car in to get the car running for emmissions. The car ran worse than when I took it in, plus he cut up a NOS TI harness and
rewrapped in electrical tape. He fixed the tilt and the steering wheel was way off. I am sure some people have had good luck but not me.
I still would not recommend them.
