You can kind of see them here. I don't have a close up and I'm too comfortable right now to go get one...

I agree with Calloway keeping their parts only for their cars. :seeya

Re: Question on Callaway Aero body hoods (91 black convert)
Now you're trying to tell me that if I have an otherwise stock C4 and replace my nose emblem with the two little "teardrops" (which you can hardly see in the picture), that I'm trying to pass my 'Vette off as a Callaway. Boy is that stretching it!

I had another thought. If you really want them they are only teardrop shaped pieces of plastic with a pin extending from the bottom that goes into the hole in the hood. They can be secured with adhesive and/or a nut designed for plastic on the backside. Keep in mind the holes are offset so the corrresponding pin needs to be offset on the teardrop. How hard could it be to make a set or have a plastic manufacturer make you a set?

What do you mean that the holes are offset? I don't understand that.

Re: Question on Callaway Aero body hoods (91 black convert)
The holes on the hood emblem are not centered, one side is further from the center than the other side. So when the teardrops are installed in place of the emblem, they look a little off-center.
When I was buying mine, I though it was a flaw in the workmanship, but once I saw other callaways (I have some pictures of a yellow Speedster should anyone want to see them), I noticed they were all the same. And after looking at the hood emblem and how it attached to the hood, you will understand why this happens. It's not very noticeable and they it looks great.

O.K. I understand now. I wonder why they did it that way.
I'm about to give up on getting the teardrops. So I'm contemplating other ideas. One thought that I had was to remove the emblem, cut the circle off and re-install just the "flags". I think that might make the hood look a little wider, which is what I think the teardrops do. Whaddaya think?
At ther very least, it will give the car a slightly different look than everybody elses.
