Default WTK: Are Nitto 555Rs best Comprimise for Traction/Mileage on Street Only?

I want a tire that will last 10K plus miles and give me the best traction possible on the street. I will not drag the car with them, this is just for the street. Tire must be 335-355 for the rear. I am about ready to get the Nitto Drag Radials, just wanted to verify that is the best way to go. Thanks guys.

I've got a set or 315s on my camaro and they have pretty good tread life.. i'd say yes. They will last longer than 10k with just street use, i've had a bout 5k put on them with about 20 burnouts and they're still lookin pretty good.
