Largest cam without changing valve springs?
I know I could call a supplier, but they do want to sell you stuff... What is the largest hydraulic camshaft that you can put in a 350 (041 heads) and not have to change/upgrade the valve springs? I want to keep it as simple and cheap as possible because I'll probably be selling the motor in several months. Thanks as always for your input.

SpeedPro-SealedPower P/N VS739R
Howards Cams P/N 98214
Elgin P/N RV943X
For duration reference, stock L82 was 222°/222°.
Three good choices of hydraulic flat tappet cam & lifter kits are:
SpeedPro-SealedPower P/N KC1062R 0.468"/0.480" 220°/231°
Summit P/N SUM-K1105 0.465"/0.488" 224°/234°
Elgin P/N E1015 0.465"/0.488" 224°/234° (cam only, no lifters)
Want a little less cam?
SpeedPro-SealedPower P/N CS1013R 0.443"/0.465" 214°/224°
Elgin P/N E1166 0.453"/0.480" 216°/218° (cam only, no lifters)

Thank you both for your advice. The heads were reconditioned by a local machine shop with new components and the motor only has 15,000 miles on it. It's been off the road for several years though.
