2012 C6 ZR1... what's with these wing mirrors? Are they new?

Actually, the mirrors are somewhat different than those of the C5.
According to Phil Berg on page 45 of his book, Corvette C6, "Although the side mirror looks the same as it did on the fifth-generation Corvette, it was subtly changed for the new car during hours of wind tunnel development. By making minute changes to the mirrors, designers and engineers reduced wind noise on the C6".

I used to run export mirrors on my C4 and really liked them.
Any of the supporting vendors know if the mirrors are available ... I doubt they would have XM ("digital audio") antennas, but hopefully they have the auto-adjust feature ...

They changed the euro spec mirrors in 2010 or 2011, Not sure when. the turn signal was on the fender as seen in this pic.

For those who said that they're EDM / JDM standard issue, I don't think you're right about that... I've seen many export C6s over the years in videos, photos, etc. and until now none of them have had mirrors like that.

Maybe it's a newly revised law as of 2011? Either way, I am also one of the few that believe the mirrors look good. Would be interested in seeing more photos, but interestingly enough I can't find any.

They are correct. What u posted is the old spec and u can see the turn signals in the fenders. Very clearly on the yellow car. Change might have happened in 2009. Can't remember.
New mirrors have a turn signal. I've seen them in person and they are BIG. Don't like them.

When I toured the factory, the guide pointed out that the mirrors in the picture are European spec. only.

Alright I gotta have it. I was just having problems parking in my narrow *** garage, and this no-mirror thing would be a HUGE help
Would you guys be willing to shed some light on exactly what you did to make this happen

Check James's car out. He's done a lot more trick $hit than just shave the mirrors... look closely at that avatar...
