I agree it looks great and adds symmetry to the car but most importantly from my perspective is the added safety aspect that certainly makes it a worthwhile project.: cheers:

I run chrome Talbot 300 Senior mirrors on both sides. These are German-made vibration-proof bullet-shaped mirrors originally used on '50s Mercedes-Benz 300 SLs AIR. You can also see them on '60s Indy and Formula 1 cars, take a look at the movie "Grand Prix again.
They hug much lower and tighter to the door and echo the C2 fender shape perfectly. About $7 each in the '60s, they will run you about $250 each today.
