Default 99 ls1 bottom end max rpm

what is the max rpm i can run on a 99 ls1 with upgraded springs? i plan on doing a h/c/i setup eventually, and i would like to know how much the bottom end can handle. i have heard something about the rod bolts breaking on the earlier ls1's past 6500 rpms. will i gain anything by raising the rpm on stock heads and cam to about 6300? how many rpm can the stock springs handle?

Get it on a dyno and see where the power falls off. Bet it's at or around 6K-going higher than peak generaly won't help much.
