Hi Howie,
I'm a newbie to posting the Corvette Forum, but having been reading C5 postings for a couple of months prior to learn about general info, etc. I have a 2003 C5 50th Anniversary Model, A/T, 45K miles, bought about three weeks ago. I'm close to downtown Los Angeles, CA.
I have the F55 suspension and it rides like a truck over bumps even on the Tour setting, found out that to put in regular shocks requires a Tech 2 Scanner to de-program or the car will be limited to 80mph. Can any Chevrolet dealer do this, or is there a good independent shop you could recommend in the L.A. area? Or any member who could help me with this?
Thanks for any help or info,
Saverio [my first name]
Hi Howie I have one more question about the lap timer and your apple computer. You said that you use the Solo DL and to run that I understand you need to run Windows. Did you use parallels or bootcamp to run windows on your Mac? If you used parallels did you experience any problems? Any help you could offer with this I would greatly appreciate. Thank you
Are you going to California Speedway this weekend (Oct 4th and 5th) ? Would love to meet you. I have some questions in preparing my street vette to run at Willow in December. Front tow hook still is the big sticking point.
What is your car number (description) so I can find you. I have a black 2013 Z06 with the Z07 peformance package.
