There are MANY differences...from trans 6 spd to 8 spd.
Many electrical tech changes...too many to list here.
I have an 06 C6 Z06 and wanted another10 years later. I researched THOUROUGHLY and found the differences to be significant.Z06 has heat soak /overheating issues. ( I really wanted the supercharger, but passed)

Get magnetic ride control. The improvements are AMAZING. The 8 spd auto shifts as fast or faster than a Porsche Carrera withe the PDK( I've driven one to compare)
In the end, I got a 2016 2LT Z51 with A8 auto,Performance Data Recorder, Magnetic Ride, and a few other minor optoions. I flew into NH to MacMulkin, and drove it home.
I got it for 12% off with NO DEALER FEES. The dealers here in South Florida wanted $395-895 for processing fees !!!
The 2016 is a VAST improvement over the previous two years. They're always fine tuning and improving. Mine drove home wonderfully....no issues and a terrific drive.Good luck with your search

Hey neighbor! Can you imagine my last post on here was 2005, right before we got the viper together! I'm back! You guessed it! C7 is on my list!

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I made the video public and it worked. But You Tube quality is so shitty, I didn't like it. Footage was off a HD camcorder, so I was hoping it'd be better. Thanks!

    Hi,

That would be great! We're also only 2.5 years into a 30 year note. Please send it to donodarr@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I have an excel spreadsheet that allows you to enter all the variables for your mortgage, and see how adding principal affects the bottom line. It's been a great tool for keeping me motivated. Want it? PM me an email address and I can get it to you.
I just keep it updated each month and I can see the loan term getting shorter each month. We are 1.5 years into a 30yr mortgage and we've already cut 4+ years off the back end.
