Thanks so much! I feel better now. I am using DOT3 aftermarket fluid. That makes sense. You are the man. And I mis-spelled squeaking! Go figure.
    Thanks again,
    Steve

The squeaking sound occurs with corvettes when the OEM clutch fluid is not used. A high quality brake fluid can be substituted, and money can be saved, but the clutch may squeak when releasing the pedal because the OEM fluid has an anti-squeak additive in it. Your clutch is fine - if you want to get rid of the squeak, replace the fluid with the GM appropriate fluid. Hope that helps.

    Dwight,
I am getting a noise coming from the clutch when I release the pedal on occasion. It is hard to describe, but it is kind of a squeeking sound. And the clutch fluid is clean, and the clutch works great. Any concern? Or any thoughts? It does not happen very often.
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hey Dwight,
Any tips on how to get used to my Exidy twin disc clutch on the LPE TT?
Sometimes on takeoff it chatters. Hard to get used to this clutch. And I think you have\had this clutch?
    Thanks,
    Steve
