Took the Vette in for the noise. Found out its the belt tensioner. there's a bulletion on it. Seems that it leeks out oil, then flutters going from 4 cylinder to 8 cylinder. Hope that helps you out

i would think you could look at one of your work orders and maybe you could tell .when i get back i will look anyway and send you a pm. the shop mgr. told me about the coating and did it under wart. both were replaced at no cost to me . they also replaced the r.trim
for no u.v.coating .have a good one. C

Ha I don't think i've ever ownded a car that wasn't white! And thanks for all the advice with the shifter issues.

That is the Callaway hood for the supercharger underneath
