Hi Thanks for the quick response...yes... I am using the original wiring harness...the question is this..the existing wires in the 1994 DOOR that connect to the wiring harness don't match up with the plugs from the wiring harness. In fact there are more plugs on my existing harness than there are in the 1994 door to connect up to. Do I solder them in or do I cut the plugs out of the old 1984 door and slice them into the wires coming out of the 1994 door? Then I can plug everything in. Still the question is..... there are less plugs involved coming out of the 1994 door so do I keep this simple and just match up colors?

Hi Gerard, thanks for the indepth reply you sent me, was a big help and guided me in the right direction.
As for the Start switch I am thinking of removing the Cig Lighter and install the start switch, then I can sort of hide it.
If you could supply me with the wiring colours this would be a great help.
Look forward to your reply when you are ready. I still have plenty of work to do before I get to the switch.
    Regards Kevin.
BTW Like what you have done with your car, similar to what I want to do (without the supercharger).
