- Recently purchased a 1982 Corvette and am the process of restoring it. The car is in good shape but I plan to Resto-mod it with a 400 hp Engine Factory, 350 chevy small-block which is being built. I took the car down to Deland, FL and had a later model 700R4 from Fourth Gear, Inc. who specializes in hot rod 700R4 transmissions. I'm doing the interior myself and may need some help from the forum from time to time.
