Thanks for the friend invitation David. I must confess that I would have preferred an invitation for a weekend in Maui with your Avatar-girl, but I'll settle on you! I'm still on the mend and have my sights set on Carlisle 2012. Come hell or high water, I'm going to find a way to attend the event. I'm pre-registered, but I have been pre-registered for the past 2 years and haven't made it. I've heard that the third time is the charm.

I still can't venture far from home - only allowed to go to the doctors and other medical-related excursions. But I started the car last weekend - 2 cranks and it fired-up. Given that I had not started the car in more than a year, I'd say that I was shocked. What a GREAT car!!!

I'll keep you informed as to progress (medically) and, hopefully, I'll be able to get the car into the WAZOO garage for its needed repairs. By the way, you FINALLY picked a nice set of wheels!!! I REALLY like them. And I also see that you've just about caught-up with me on the engine mods. I would guess that you grin a lot now that you increased your HP and torque by more than 1/3. I could NEVER go back to a stock ZRT-1 or Corvette - I need the shock of 460 RWHP!!! (My tires can't handle it from a dead start, but what the heck - I don't think anything short of racing slicks could get the BEAST to hook-up.

David, I hope you have a GREAT Christmas and a very prosperous New Year. I eagerly await our reunion at Carlisle in August.

A month ago you posted in my thread where I was selling my 1991 ZR1 original owner car. In that post some folks asked for photos of the rare sets of headers made for the Tommy Morrison Motorsports / GM 1990 Ft. Stockton TX 24-hour endurance trials they ran back when the ZR1 was new. Also, you helped give me very good advice at Carlisle about selling my 1991 ZR1. It did sell on eBay motors, a disaster all around with the buyer not a prior Corvette owner or enthusiast at all but oh well.

I do now have the two sets of 1990 Ft. Stockton Endurance Trial headers up on the Corvette Forum for sale with photos, and I hope you might be interested for your 1993, or perhaps know someone else in the Baltimore/DC are who might like to come out to Annapolis over the weekend and pick up a pair or two :-)

Here is the link to the thread, please,if you are interested them write back soon or call (410-956-0300 in Annapolis MD), as they will be gone hopefully by the end of this weekend! :-) Thanks again for your interest, David! -Randy
