    dizwiz24 are you still on the Forum? I have a question about the rear spring wearing out back in 2002. I think mine is but not 100%.

    Im not really following you about the solid axle. My goals are different than others here. If I wanted a solid axle drag car, I would have started with a different car.

    An IRS will break at launch w/ non-sprung hub clutch and slicks. They dont just fail on you in the middle of a high RPM highway pull. I will never be running slicks either. If you crack something, its going to cause a heck of a vibration and you are going to be dumb to continue running it.

    I dont want to give up the corner carving skills of my car.

    It's going to be interesting to view your dyno print out when posted. Your next decision will probably be to consider a straight axle in the rear. Don't expect any reasonable traction until you do. At my point in life do I invest $6,000 in the rear end or save my wife the expense of a casket? Oh to be young again! Good luck. Randy Young
