    Have owned many Corvettes over the last many years. Also, I have built and raced several street rods and more "55" Chevys Than I can remember. My hobby is mainly "shark fishing" and cars of course. I am also a veteran of the Navy 1967-1973.

    where exactly are you located in nc? we have a place in charlotte where one of our kids and his family (our only grandchildren) live. we will be up there for a week 12/20-12/29. are you anywhere near there by chance?

    it would be my pleasure. i've got you by a couple of years (1944) though, lol. i'm way down south in the ft lauderdale florida area should you ever find yourself down this way.

    Dave. A friend of mine in Charlotte called me at work today. He bought a white/red C4 coupe on ebay in Dallas Texas. He's flying there right now to drive it home tonight and tomorrow. The photos look really good and I hope he gets a good car out of this one. It's an auto which I would think would mean a little more sensible care.
