No need for apologies at all buddy. Just glad to hear you are okay! A guy posted a thread wanting to convert a coupe to an FRC the other day. I posted a link to your profile page and told the member that you were the authority on that task. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...onversion.html Seems he wants to because of the aspect that he wouldn't be able to get loan to just purchase one... Talk atcha later T!

I noticed you are from West Norriton. I am from trooper, but have never seen your car around at any of the meets. Do you bring it out much?

    ajg1915,

I saw in one of your posts where you had to replace the part in the steering column where the white plastic tube of the membrane wiring harness connects via the post on that tube. I was wondering if you remember the part number and vendor for that part.

Long story made short - I replaced my membrane, check the old one-it was ok, as I tried to reassemble the unit I found that the piece in the column had apparently broken off and allowed the hot side to short out via the spring and active the horns. Now I am waiting for the required "legs" for my puller to remove the steering wheel. Thanks in advance for your help.
