Hello Jim, Going through twin turbo posts and it looks like you've installed your turbos in the same location that I'm planning on doing mine. Do you have any pics of the install? I'm running an LS, doing a frame off resto mod and it looks like there's plenty of room right where the frame widens just aft of the front wheel wells. thanks, Chris

Hi Jim how are you doing? - remember a few weeks back you kindly offered to write-up some Vette related articles for our CCCUK magazine - 'Vette News' ? - well, I am going to get our August edition together. So anything you would like to 'donate' would be gratefully received. Bearing in mind that many of our members are just ordinary guys we will need to make it nice and easy for them - so over to you buddy - you choose what you want to send over. Don't worry too much about spelling and grammar -we will do that - some photos would be good too. Perhaps you would like to do a feature on your own car?

I'm sure they are fine...but they seem to leave a lot of power on the table for the $$$. I'm not sure who's block they are using these days...I looked the websites and they don't say. If it's a Dart or a Merlin it would be good. Not sure about some of the import stuff yet. Supposedly there is a new one this year that is decent..just haven't had one in my hands to play with. You could get a shortblock and use your heads/intake with a good cam maybe? Mike Lewis (Lewis Racing Engines)does great work as does Mark Jones (Vortecpro) and they ship overseas regularly. Which heads do you have again?

Jim - haven't spoken in a while - how are you doing - what is the next magazine article you are doing? - Jim do you know anything about this Nashville based guy - Mike Chilando - http://www.alkydigger.net/products.php?cat=31 -
trades on Ebay as Alkydigger - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/alkydiggerspartsandpieces
Was considering one of his 'new' Enderle set-ups with F.A.S.T injection.
    Thanks Ross

Hi Jim remember me? :-) I am about to be a Chevelle owner and will be starting another BB project soon. Unfortunately the budget will not alllow aluminum heads this time. Are there any good iron heads that I can make good HP with? If so do you know the casting numbers. If you could reply back to me at wkhhw@yahoo.com. I hope you are doing well.

Thanks Jim for that - went on thread, posted - interesting thoughts. Take a look at this Jim http://www.john-sleath.com/
John built my engine for me - it will be interesting to see what you (as an American) think of what to some may look a 'shade tree' operation.
    Regards, Ross

Doing great! Work keeps me awful busy..but play time is here! Just finished 3 days on the dyno with a Dart 400" for a buddy's '61. Ck out the C-2 thread for the WCFB carb thread. I recently freshened my 540 up and made it a 555". Nothing wrong with it but my buddy at Holley wanted to use it to test his new EFI system and wanted to do it on a dyno. So I rebuilt it with Mahle pistons and Oliver rods. I tested some new Brodix heads and a few cams and carbs as well as the EFI. very busy two days! Some stuff worked well..some didn't. It made 860HP with my old heads and cam on the first pull! All on pump gas. I'm installing it in the car this weekend and the editor of Corvette Enthusiast is flying to my house. We will leave next Wed on a 2500+ mile road trip to a Vette show to see how a Hot Rod Vette does and to test the new EFI. Wish me luck!

The Pypes are still doing fine. I can let you know more after this trip for sure!

Glad to see you made it to the track. There's a LOT more left in that bad boy!

    JIM
