I have '09 Z06 and looking to have preventive work done on engine before my warranty runs out next year. Would like to discussion options to achieve at least 550hp at the wheels with a mild cam with little lope while "correcting" for future valve guide problems. Thanks

Do you have the carbon fiber hood vent for the 2016 C7 that matches the exposed carbon fiber piece on the hood?
    Thanks

Jason I am looking for a upgraded gdi pump for a c7 vette. I see gm has a belt driven setup on there c7r engine now. The motor has twin gtx3582r's on it on I would like to upgrade the fuel system so we could gain some more hp. I was told the z06 pump and injectors would handle around 800hp. Any help would be appreciate. Thanks Marc Fricke

    Jason,
What is the maximum rpm that can be run on a OEM LS7 valve train safely? My basically stock '08 ZO6 (Vararam CAI and a tune) will be adding headers and a retune on Wednesday Aug.28th. I frequently race on airstrips, 1/2 mile rolling start drag race, where I currently reach 159-160mph and right at 7000rpm in 4th gear. I don't want to shift to 5th as I'll most likely lose a close race by doing so. I'm expecting a possible 3-4mph gain with the headers after a retune. By my calculations based on stock gearing and tire size, I'll need about another 150rpm in 4th gear to achieve that mph. Will my stock motor hold up to that? I'm shifting at 6500rpm in all gears (because of the peak power arriving at about 6100rpm), so I would only be reaching this rpm in 4th gear as I'm crossing the finish line. If you could please respond before Wed. the 28th, when we will be tuning the car and have the opportunity to reset the rev limiter. Thanks for your time.

    Jason,
I'm sure your get blowed up with questions. thanks for the help before hand.
I've got an 07 z06 w/ 23K. I have aftermarket extended warranty. Ive read the sticky now I'm worried about my car.
I don't have valve train noise at idle or low rpm that sounds alarming. but, a randomly at WOT like pulling hard in 3rd i hear chatter. I thought it was spark knock and the car adjusted timing, which is why it comes and goes. I assumed bad gas, like 87 in the 93 tank, believe me it happens. Now I'm not sure if i need to pull valve covers and check, sell the dang car, or what. I don't want it to blow warranty or not. it's just too much hassle and that would depreciate the resell. what should i do?
