The Edelbrock top end kit #2096 is rated at 460 hp and 460 ftlbs;
based on 383 with 9.5 CR.

I have this kit with slightly higher CR at 10.3.
Took a bit of dialling in on a chassis dyno with a Holley HP 750 DP and eventually obtained 373 rwhp and 396 ftlbs
That's with a manual trans..... 20% loss estimate yields 466 fw hp and 490 ft lbs

Needs low diff gears though. I originally had 3.36 diff with TKO-600 trans, and gearing did not match the hills twisty roads I enjoy driving on....
Now have 3.73 diff and power band matches gearing perfectly.

Absolute joy to drive now. Nice tough idle, plenty of torque to cruise along quietly, but really pulls strong from 3000 ~ 6000.

Car runs mid 11's (116 mph) with MT ET drag radials.

I am more than happy with the results.
