Understand. Have you had any issues with the spoiler not being attached onto the sides being that it is urethane and flexible? I have a factory urethane spoiler that I am planning to put on my 1979, however it doesn't have the threaded 'weld' nuts on the ends as required. Wondering if I installed it without drilling the side holes and securing it with bolts if it would even be noticeable.
I actually haven't touched it yet. I should soon though. Been putting it off.
Mines a bit loose, it has some "front / rear" movement. The nuts on the screws are a bit rusty. Afraid of breaking them off and having to start from scratch.
I know it's been a while but I was reading your post from last year and wondering if you secured the spoiler ends back on the car or left it as was without the screws?
