    Bernie,

I've researched the T5 swap to death and still have a few questions that I could not find answers to while reading all the old threads as well as the writeups you and Fevre were kind enough to produce. Any chance I may be able to give you a call to discuss some of my questions? I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to do the install or send out to a shop, but either way need to order all of my parts.

    Thanks,

    Jim

John, The rod that goes from the master cylinder thru the firewall to the clutch pedal. I cut it an inch or 2 from the end. threaded both ends and used a heim joint coupler that will lengthen or shorten the rod depending on which way you turn the coupler so you can adjust the length of the rod to get your clutch pedal all the way up when not being depressed. There are other ways to accomplish the came thing. It is just the way I did it.

    Bernie,
Are you talking about where the mechanical linkage goes? If I PMed you with some pics, do you think you can tell me if I am thinking of the right place?

    Hey Bernie,
I was looking through the archives and saw a thread where you retro fitted an '85 slave cylinder. If I get this straight from what you posted, all I have to do is shorten the rod to where the slave cylinder can be flush to the firewall in the stock location and I should have the correct angle?

    Thanks
    John
