I am so excited to be a member of the HTC. Today I purchased a 2022 Z51 3 LT HTC with 2500 miles on it, and will pick it up next week. I sold my 2021 Z51 2 LT Coupe and absolutly Loved it. I got tired of the coupe with the rear window and rain getting my engine dirty and wet every tiime it rains. I think that I will love the HTC. I just wasn't as enthusiastic about seeing the engine as much as I thought vs keeping it cleaned. Im sure I will do the clear engine cover and dress it up some but I wont have high blood pressure every time it rains now when im driving. I dont know how I will make it having to wait 6 more days to pick my Gurl up. 😩😩😩

The novelty of seeing a fake plastic intake escapes me....maybe with a Z06 but who cares with a Stingray. Along with the HTC looking more exotic, not having to keep the engine bay area clean due to its exposure to the elements is a bonus!

My thoughts exactly. Went from C8 coupe to Z06 HTC.

I thought I may have second thoughts when getting the coupe because probably 75% of the Corvettes I've owned over the years have been convertibles. However both my C8s have been coupes and I have never had a second thought.
But then I don't drive mine in the rain so the engine compartment stays clean.

The HTC numbers of total percentage of C8 sales dwarfs previous convertible choices in the Corvette. HTC is the one folks want AND BUY!

The HTC, with the clear window is just an awesome combination, especially if you do car shows... All the other HTC's have their top closed, but folks stop and stare at mine with it open...

I went from a 2021 Coupe to a 2024 HTC and love it. The fact that it is so easy and convenient to put the top down is really nice. Also I noticed how much quieter the HTC is compare to the coupe.

Congrats & Enjoy!! My thoughts exactly....My 2019 Vette was a coupe and I loved it (never liked the rag top look)....Bought a 23 HTC last summer and I'm so glad I spent the extra $$ on the HTC....I have the roof down all the time compared to maybe 50% of the time with the coupe, and don't have any desire to see the engine....

But then the coupe has outsold the HTC in every C8 model year.

Corrects, Corvette coupes have outsold convertibles every year since 1968.

For 2023 it was 52%/48% Coupe/HTC for Stingray, and 49%/51% coupe/HTC for Z06. I've only had two previous convertibles across all my cars (06 BMW Z4M and 03 Corvette), but both my C8s (Stingray and Z06) were/are HTCs and I absolutely love it.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown for 2023. Looks like the gap favoring coupes over HTC may be widening in 2023 as opposed to closing up.

The HTC is the only way to be able to have the top off when you take a trip with several pieces of luggage that can't all fit in the frunk.

True! Good point.
I have the transparent top on my C8 which I love and says on 95% of the time so not a problem for me. That's one of the things I like about the coupe with transparent top, I have (3) options, hardtop on, transparent on or no top on.
