Boy I am sure there are a lot of folks on the Forum that know a lot more about that than me. I would have to think most of it due to the Selective Ride Control. It costs $2500 so it should do something! Whether that is all of it or not I dont know. I was actually more curious about the noise difference. I have figured out though that I dont even know what tires for sure I have on the 2013. The tires on the 09 were new Michelin Pilot Sport 2's. I thought that is what is on the 13. However the ones on the 13 just say Michelin Pilot Sport. Therefore I dont know whither they are regular PS2's or Pilot Sport Cups- that is how sharp I am!! They are an inch wider front and rear on the Cup style wheels that come with the ride control. The tread looks different than my others. If so maybe the difference in noise level?? The new car is MUCH quieter though. Maybe someone can enlighten me on the tires!!

they changed the exhaust in 2011 x pipe not h and again in 2012 4 cats mag ride gets you the tires off the zr1 19/20's and cup wheels plus PTM this is what I've been trying to trade my 2012 z06 for but at 58000 for my z06 this is not happening in my life time.

They should be PS2 Zeros... Same tire, you would not have cup tires...

Man I didnt know it got that cold in the United States!! When that baby headed south there was no breaking in at 55. I told you I wasnt shutting it down that night until I had at least a 30 degree temp change. Ohyea she let me play with her leg a little but Gracie gets jealous and wedges me out! Cheers FB:leaving:

I hear ya! I'm still selling my car, almost exact like the one pictured above. Only 3200 miles and I won't take less than 65k for it. Its a great deal for someone out there.

:iagree:Hang in there! The discounts on the new ones could make yours difficult to sell for a while. I think I remember you stating somewhere you bought it from Tim Boone. I missed one just like I bought, except with solid ebony interior, from Tim by a half day recently. It was a 13 at 69k. However the 13's will clear out of the market and I dont subscribe to the doomsday predictions for c6 prices once the new car is out. C6 Z's are great looking cars and I think there will continue to be a strong market for the 427. Who knows the market could even strengthen. Patience FB
