    do a search on flycutting, they bolt on a bare head and hand turn a circular cutting blade. spin monster shows a step-by-step cut with the engine in the car. shouldnt be real expensive if you can find someone with a little experience.

    Steve, thanks for the response. I don't know what fly cutting consists of? Is it fairly expensive. Do you feel that I have enough piston to valve clearance just with over revving there was no way to prevent what happened? 11.6 is awesome!

    l92/l76 milled .025 (so i didnt have to fly-cut. comp cams xer273 224/230 .581 114 lsa, arh 1 3/4headers, yella terra shaft rockers. Runs really strong, able to daily drive with no issues. I just put 4.10 gears in but with my mn6/z51 tranny i would use 3.90's if i had to do it again.
