    if you overrevved you prob overcame the valve springs and the clearance may not help at that point. if its torn apart tho and they can fly cut for you (without taking your left nut) then i prob would. that sucks, make sure you have your springs checked. if that happens to me i'm gonna put in a 427! by the way ran 11.6 with a full tank of gas, heavy painted top and subwoofer in the car.
