Happens all the time. My last dealer I tried to buy a Vette from said it happens to a pretty good % of the cars they have. And no, they do not report it anywhere.

Just let them fix it and move on.

More info is needed than just the price.. I absolutely love the Z but I would only buy a M7 '19 Z in Orange. Had an A8 and returned it to the dealer after 7 days due to getting bored of no shifting.....
