I don't leave it down unless it is I am at the gas station and just running in and out. The main reason has more to do with birds than anything else really. I learned my lesson the hard way.

I know the 05 had a problem of the harmonic balance pulley. Mine slipped backwards and rubbed a hole in my oil pan, as the c6 had not been pinned. I also think the c5 had the same problem.
