, I Tompicked up an ex Mike Waltrip Racing ASA Delco car that I understand was raced only a couple times and parked. Driven by the Butler kid who I believe is part of the Aaron's family. I got a good deal on it and will be able to convert and then sell at a very attractive price. Could be converted to Camaro for the cost of body and labor. If you know anyone who might be interested and can be reached at 386 717 0745 or bosco022022@yahoo.com

    Thanks

This happens over time. the calipers have spead apart to cause the uneven brake pad wear. To correct this new calipers is the best option . A pair of front calipers is about $250 plus the price of new brake pads.

You can keep the calipers, but will need to replace the brake pads more often

what did you mean about the calipers being spread? What will happen if I don't change them, faster wear on the replacements? Thanks

Chuck asked me to contact you about your personal thoughts on HPDE event at VIR the last week in Aug. I've never done one and didn't want to waste my money. I " think " it is a Mazda event, not positive but it is open and had vacancies last night. Thanks Gene Daniel

    MTI X1 230/227 .591/.571 112 old thread http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread...ght=x1+cam+mti

Higher intake then exhaust. That video was cool, but not a dd cam and I dont think that cam would be easy to drive.

there are several guys who have the LG X2 G5X2

I think the best thing is to find a shop in your area who can do the cam change. Let them know what you want and let them make a suggestion.

I run a 224/224 581/581 112+0 XeR comp cam.. Not too big and I am very happy with it. If I did it again I think I would have gone 224/228 ( slight larger on exhaust side) 581/581 112+2

But new engine in the works soon.

    Good Luck

    Hey Tom,

Hope all is well with you. I have to ask you as I value your thoughts. I wanted the MTI X-1 cam so badly but waited to pull the trigger and as we all now know MTI is no more. Do you have a suggestion(s) for a similar number cam. I am ignorant to these things(numbers), as you know but was hoping you could help with a direction. I LOVE lope and this is the ear candy I hope to attain.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YtIGKk1Aws

    Take care,
