Can I pull error codes from my '07 C6?

On my C4 I could short a couple pins in the ODB plug to read the codes on the display. Is there any way to do that on the C6?

I bought my 07 with Z51, Auto w/paddles, HUD, 3LT and 95K miles. I paid 15,900.<br /><br />p.s. I bought it early 2020 &amp; it has plexi top, too.

Injector and coil covers?

Do the Injector and coil covers perform any function beside cosmetic? There is always a lot of dirt trapped under them. I can't believe that's a good thing.

Permanent Fix

A few days after running the CD and fixing the clock I had to replace the battery. Lo and behold, after starting the car, the clock still displayed.
