    Hey there,

I didn't get an email from you, I don't believe. IDK why. Anyway, with regard to the oil, how did you determine "150*F"? That gauge is not linear and it's impossible to tell what your temps are (oil and coolant) w/o goign to the digital. If it was near the first "mark" above 100*, then 233*F on the digital sounds right -and the accurate temp.

I still run R12 in my AC system and it blows COLD. I've charged it one time as it was starting to blow cold...not COLD! If mine gets to the point where leaking needs repairing that is when I'll evac the system, modify it for R134, and then switch once the leak is repaired.

Your PM inbox is full so I couldn't respond about the calipers. Please send me a PM with your email and we can work the details.

You got that right. I've had mine 3 years and I bet I've already spend more on it then it cost. I could use new seat covers and the leather on the steering wheel is chewed up but I'm too busy driving it to worry.

I split time between Baltimore MD and Philly PA. There's a huge Corvette salvage yard near Philly but it's not open to the public. Other than that, most of the salvage vettes around here are on craigslist and always need interiors, seats are ripped, carpets faded and ruined, dash burned out. Motors are usually thrashed but I guess that's anywhere with an old sports car lol. Most of the other mechanicals are just the usual wear and tear. Bodies are usually pretty good, just need paint most of the time unless they got hit. And they always need tires, the trailer park types never want to drop the cash for new ones.
That's a sweet 88 in your profile. The right color too
