Default Flickering dash light on 84

My dash light bulb that shows the temp was not working so I followed the instruction by a fellow poster and changed the bulb with the needle nose plyers as instructed. After I put the dash faceplate back together the light worked fine for about 5 miles and then went out again. I took the dash faceplate apart again and when I touched the bulb it light again. As I would touch the bulb it would light then go out after you took your hand off the bulb. Does this mean the bulb holder socket is bad or is the circuit that controls the bulb scoket bad because now even if you touch the bulb its dead. Since I never had the whole digital dash face plate removed I dont know how it functions. I do know the digital dash was rebuilt about two years ago by previous owner.

Default Pulsating Dash & Others

To The World, I have a 1986 Corvette that I recently bought and had the dash rebuilt for boocoo bucks. It didn't function at all in the beginning and now it does.....partially. Now the rebuilt dash, headlights, courtesy lights, etc. flicker or pulsate. I've checked/cleaned several grounds, cleaned the distribution block under the battery, checked the battery terminals and disconnected the alternator after startng. No luck. It appears the front turning indicator lights don't work. Are there any experts out there that have a suggestion on what may be causing the problem (a correction) other than radical surgery? Thanks.
