Change oil light on

Melting Slicks
It means you didn't reset the oil light when you had it changed. The instructions are in the owners manual, and posted in a sticky at the top of the C4 General section.
Sorry, I lied. The sticky is in the C4 Tech section. Anyway, here is what you do:
1. Turn the key to RUN, but don’t start the engine.
2. Press ENG MET on the Trip Monitor. Then, within
five seconds, press it again.
3. Witbin five seconds, press and hold GAUGES on the
Trip’Monitor. The CHANGE OIL light should flash.
4. Hold the GAUGES button until the CHANGE OIL
light stops flashing and goes out. This should take
about ten seconds.
When the light goes out, the monitor is reset. If the
monitor doesn’t reset, turn the ignition off, then try
again.

Just reset the light. Which the key in the run postion but not running hit the ENG/MET button twice within a couple seconds of each other. Then press and hold the gaugues button until it flashes and turns off.

So, follow Mark's instructions and you might need to replace "Gauges" with "Range" button.
RANGE button (1990-1991)
GAUGES button (1992-1996) on the Trip Monitor
