Tim- Test was performed per the GM service manual. My guage does have a check valve. And I tested 1 ,5 and 7 three times to verify the results were at least consistent.

Card0- yes throttle plates...

I have had good luck with the Imperial benders....

I have had good luck with the Imperial benders. Rigid and Rothenberger are good to. I work in commercial HVAC, and never had any issues with any of these brands.
