Default steering problems

Hello:I have a '71 that I'm currently working on. The steering wheel is pulsing and will only turn to the right. I'm not sure if this is a new problem, since I did not have the car running before I replaced the steering control valve and the steering cylinder. I know that I missed something here. please send some info.

You most likely have air in your system. Then you may have to balance your control valve.

Here is a link from a few days ago on "getting the air out."

Then you can download this scan on balancing the control valve.
