Very optimistic n my opinion. I would spend some money on a mechanic that knows C3's and he should be able to point out what is needs to fixed and what can wait. Good luck to you.

Take it to the shop. Make sure they take all plugs. Ask if the price includes installing new cam bearings, it should, otherwise you have to buy a cam bearing installation tool.

What is your O/D ratio ? if near ..65-.75 then yu could run the .370. I am assuming you have the rear end because there are others in between that would work too. I run a 3.08 behind my 427ci small...

225/60/15 is 1 1/2" shorter than a 255/60/15 which is 27". It will drop the front end and possibly give you a wider gap between the fender and top of tire.

I have a failsafe wire to my fans. It is a thick wire that connects the battery through a heavy duty switch the directly to my fans if my fan controller, fuses, relays or anything else fails.
